Marketing continues to be one of the main activities that determine whether or not a product and/or service are successful. Until this day the record-breaking success of the Iphone can be mainly accredited to the storytelling techniques of Steve Jobs. While a product or service may be ideal for satisfying a consumer’s needs, the consumer may reject it if the manner in which it is presented to them is inappropriate. Many products have even failed simply because of ineffective marketing communication strategies. “The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place”(George Bernard Shaw).

Marketing communication strategies have been forced to change just as quick, if not quicker, as the changes in society. Technology advancements have forced companies all over the world to reinvent how they communicate with their customers. This workshop will educate the audience on the advancements of marketing communication all the way to its digital form. Following numerous theories and examples of previous success stories and game changers, the audience will partake in a real-life case-study of one of the biggest companies in Cypus, Cyta.

Cytanet has created an innovative new product and the participants of this workshop will have the opportunity to brainstorm towards a feasible communication strategy. The winning idea will be presented to the company and the winner will receive the credit they deserve. This workshop applies a great mix of theory and practice in the world of marketing communications.
